Jb-active has evolved from our sports goods business, which we established in Lurgan, Co. Armagh in 1998.
We started custom printing onto sports shirts, followed by embroidery. We then added party t-shirts (hens, stags, birthdays etc.) and eventually had a large portfolio of different garments and accessories for different events, people, sports and businesses.
Irish sporting activities in many different sports have generated large followings, on a local, county, provincial, national and international level. Most of these sports involve supporters buying licensed merchandise at a premium price in order to show their allegiance to their chosen team.
Realising a demand for high quality reasonably priced items, we have taken the decision to produce our own range of leisure clothing, which will increase and change as you, our customers, friends and clients, make suggestions which we can implement. All garment designs (with the exception of our retro designs) are subject to regular changes and updates, to try and keep the ideas fresh.
Being totally independent of any organization or manufacturer, means we can change our designs to suit you and not our shareholders. Buying our products will mean that you don’t need to worry about, “will this be out of date tomorrow” as we try to use crests and designs which are relatively “timeless”.
In this respect, if you have a design you think may work, then sketch or draw it (hand drawings are fine), scan it and send it to us. Our garment graphics designer will interpret your design. We will then discuss this, with you if desired and decide if it would be something, others might like to wear. If it goes to production, you will be paid a small commission and get credited on the design. Budding designers go ahead and try us out. The number of times you can do this is totally unlimited. Use our “YOUR DESIGNS” to send your ideas to us.
Our products are designed and made of the highest quality fabrics available locally, using local factories and people, who we trust. This may mean that our products are slightly more expensive, than imported goods (we know we could further cut costs this way), but we wish to secure local jobs and will do all we can to maintain that philosophy.
If you have a supporters club for any organization and would like a design, custom made for you, please get in touch and see what we can offer. Our minimum quantities are very low (but beware that set up charges may be slightly higher for smaller orders). We can make designs for almost anything. I doesn't have to be sporting related. We have already done celebration and commemoration editions.
